iCloud Photos
iCloud Photos keeps your photos and videos safe, up to date, and available automatically on all of your Apple devices, on iCloud.com, and even your PC. iCloud Photos always uploads and stores your original, full-resolution photos. You can keep full-resolution originals on each of your devices, or save space with device-optimized versions instead. Either way, you can download your originals whenever you need them. Any organizational changes or edits you make are always kept up to date across all your devices.
The photos and videos that you keep in iCloud Photos use your iCloud storage. Before you turn on iCloud Photos, make sure that you have enough space in iCloud to store your entire collection. You can see how much space you need and then upgrade your storage plan if necessary.

Nothing like the phone app
Shutterfly's phone app is wonderful. I went through the trouble of upgrading my Mac just so I could downloaded the Mac version of the app to make it a bit easier to make the 6x6 photo album, since that was quite the chore on my phone. Well, I should have listened to everything the other reviews said about the app. It is an absolute waste. Not user friendly, you don't have any of the same options that you get on the mobile version, and it's just a pain. Until they make it the same as the phone app, I will be deleting this app. It is an absolute waste, and so disappointing coming from Shutterfly. I expected more from them, given their website and mobile experiences.

Doesn't work on my Macs! (Where all my best pics are..)
I have not be able to drag and drop photos in, as the website says I should be able to. So I downloaded the app, and that stalls out. It opens my photo and then doesn't do anything with them. Very disappointing. I want to use shutterfly, in large part because I have a ton of photos already on your site, but I've spent too much of my life trying to upload to Shutterfly over the last few weeks to justify any savings. I'll be spending the next 2 weeks moving my photos somewhere else, I think. :(

Shutterfly App for MAC nothing like the iPhone Mobile App version. Plz upgrade MAC App Shutterfly!
I love using the app for Apple iPhone & iPad with my Shutterfly account, however the Shutterfly App for iMac is nothing like the mobile version. Very frustrating and not user friendly, plus it is limited to the features which only allows you to upload photo books. Shutterfly, please upgrade the MAC App to mirror the iPhone/iPad versions! There is no point in downloading this app, it is easier to go directly to the Shutterfly website from Safari to do your projects on full desktop site.

not a clever and not easy
i put my pictures into the order i want via story board and the 'auto' placing of pictures put every other one right on top of each other. I also got this app because I thought it connected to my photos on my mac.. it does.. for one time. when i went to add more pictures, you can not just drag and drop into your project.. you have to go online and upload. if i could give zero starts, i would.
